Creative Guidelines and Procedures for E-Mail Marketing Campaigns
Client will be contacted within 3 business days of cleared funds by your Customer Service Representative to start your campaign planning.
Creative Guidelines
For all email marketing campaigns, please include the following materials:
1. From Lines: (We recommend: Clients name, Company, Product or Brand)
2. Subject Lines: (Subject Line should be no more than 3 to 5 words or 30 characters).
3. HTML Copy.
4. Text Copy.
5. Opt-Out Information compliant with the CAN-SPAM Act.
6. Current Suppression files (If applicable).
· Client supplied creative must be received by The Versatile Group of Hollywood no later than two (3) business days prior to the desired email broadcast date.
· If client is purchasing a creative from The Versatile Group of Hollywood, payment must be received five (5) business days prior to the broadcast date.
· Test will be sent within 24-48 hours of receipt of the creative.
· All tests must be approved by the client within 24 hours of the scheduled broadcast date. If the client fails to approve within this time frame the campaign will be delayed until the next available time slot.
· Live Broadcast will be sent within 24 hours after test is approved by the client or on the pre-approved deployment date, whichever is later.
· All Creative Copy and Content is subject to The Versatile Group of Hollywood Approval. The Versatile Group of Hollywood reserves the right to reject any Copy or Content that advertises or promotes any product or service involving illegal activity, illegal products, illegal product paraphernalia, sexual paraphernalia, adult films or other media, gambling, weapons, illicit activities, chain letters, pyramid fund raising, or similar types of material. Client will be notified in advance if the copy or content has been rejected and informed of the reason for such rejection.
· The use of deceptive or misleading “From Lines”, “Subject Lines” and “False Headers” are expressly prohibited.
· Reasonable additional charges may be incurred for multiple copy splits, or other additional labor. Advance notice will be given to the client prior to incurring any such charges.
· All creative campaigns will be tested against spam filtering tools, and MUST PASS this process before launch to ensure maximum deliverability.
HTML AD SPECIFICATIONS
· HTML format *.html or *.htm.
· HTML Creative Pixel Size should be 600x480.
· All images we bill hosted By The Versatile Group of Hollywood, please make sure all images are included with the HTML file.
· We do not accept HTML files created in MS-Word, MS Publisher or PDF Files.
Please Note: These formats can be converted, but will incur a nominal charge for associated labor.
TEXT AD SPECIFICATIONS
· Text ad must be sent in a Text document (.txt), not Word.
· Text must be ASCII text (12 pt. Ariel Font). No colors, no bold, no italics, no embedded links, and all one size. Preferably written in notepad or a similar ASCII editor.
· We recommend that the body of text be 1 to 2 paragraphs with no more than 76 characters per line.
· URLs must be supplied in the following format: http://www.mydomain.com/landingpage
· We do not accept text files created in MS-Word, MS Publisher or PDF Files.
